Can I access on-campus support services?
Even though you could be studying thousands of miles away, you will still be able to access many of the same support services that are available to those studying on-campus at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Tailored support until graduation and beyond
Your Student Success Advisor will be on hand to introduce you to the following University services:
In addition to being able to access all of your course reading material online, Manchester Metropolitan University Library provides helpdesk support to Global Online students. You can contact them by email, live chat and telephone to discuss a whole range of support, including how to manage your library account online.
Our advisors within the Disability Service aim to provide impartial, high-quality support, guidance, information and advice for students from pre-entry through to graduation. You can access one-to-one student support tailored for your specific needs, helping make sure you are genuinely supported throughout your studies.
You will have access to the University’s team of professionally qualified counsellors, mental health and well-being mentors and mental health advisor.
You will become an automatic member of our Student Union – an independent charity that represents the needs and views of our students. The Union works closely with Manchester Met staff to provide a wide range of services and activities, including events, online clubs and societies, online student representatives and complimentary phone or Skype interviews with the Advice Centre.
Our Careers and Employability Service offers a host of resources, advice and guidance to help you achieve your career goals. All alumni benefit from lifelong access to our digital careers service.
With over 300,000 alumni living and working in more than 144 countries across the world, when you graduate you will be part of a huge network that makes a real impact to the world. Plus, you will also be able to access exclusive Man Met alumni benefits and services too.
