Reflections on the Political Nature of Sport – Inaugural Lecture – 31 May 2018
Professor Jonathan Grix, Professor in Sport Policy and programme lead for our Global Online MSc in Sport Business, Management and Policy, will be giving a lecture on the Political Nature of Sport on Thursday 31 May.
While debates have raged as to whether or not sport and politics can, and ought to be kept separate, Jonathan Grix has spearheaded a revival of the study of the political nature of sports.
In this lecture, he will explore how sport can be used as a case study through which we can learn about politics, policy-making and society.
