New Global Online Food Science masters launches at Manchester Metropolitan

A new Global Online programme has launched at Manchester Metropolitan: an MSc in Food Science and Innovation.

Some of the most important issues facing the world today centre around food and nutrition – from increasing supply and demand to the impact of climate change on crops. These pressures, plus an international skills shortage, have opened up a wealth of career opportunities across the globe, and this programme will teach professionals all they need to take advantage of them.

Developing commercial skills and technical ones in equal measure, as one of our students, you will explore key industry issues during units such as Food Processing, Future Sustainability and Food Microbiology. Whatever your career goals and wherever you are based, the internationally focused course can be tailored to prepare you for a range of careers in Food Quality Assurance Management, Research Technical Management, Nutritional Labelling and beyond.

This is the latest Global Online programme to launch at the University, joining five others:

Each degree is delivered online, provides 24/7 access to learning resources and direct contact with academics, and offers a dedicated Student Success Advisor to ensure you get the most from your studies.

The application process for Food Science and Innovation is now open and the first intake will begin in October 21018. Learn more and apply here.
