Manchester Metropolitan Business School shortlisted for UK education award
Manchester Metropolitan’s Business school has been formally recognised by a body of industry experts for the strong network it has formed with employers.
The department has been named as a finalist in the Employer Engagement category of this year’s Educate North Awards, which celebrates excellence and best practice in the education sector. The nomination acknowledges the strong partnerships and engagement that the Business School has built with employers, and the benefits that these relationships offer to students and businesses alike.
The University has also been shortlisted for the UK Apprenticeship Award and Business/Industry Collaboration Award in partnership with SharpFutures.
Professor Julia Clarke, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the Faculty of Business and Law, said: “To be represented in three categories is a testament to the impact and collaborations the University is continuing to develop.”
Now in its fourth year and judged by leading industry professionals, the Educate North Awards celebrate the best educational teams, charities and institutions based in the north of England.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 26 April 2018.
